Our Story
Eric Godin, the founder of Eric’s Services, brings a well-rounded background in welding, electrical work, HVAC, and general construction to every project he takes on. His career began straight out of high school at Burlington Technical Center, where he studied welding and graduated at the top of his class. As the first student selected for a co-op placement, Eric gained hands-on experience at Fab Tech while still in school, specializing in stainless steel pipe welding.
After graduation, Eric briefly pursued business studies before choosing to launch his career in the trades. He joined Vermont Heating, where he expanded his skill set to include ductwork fabrication and installation, as well as plumbing support. During this time, he became highly proficient in measuring, ordering, building, and installing custom duct systems—developing a strong foundation in HVAC work.
Eric later attended lineman school and earned his CDO crane operator license, qualifying him to work on power line projects. He went on to work with Stowe Electric, further strengthening his electrical expertise before starting his own company.
In addition to his core trade experience, Eric has also completed professional carpentry work with Prop Ready, rounding out his capabilities as a true multi-trade professional.
Today, Eric combines technical precision with a strong work ethic and business mindset, delivering reliable, high-quality service to every client. His diverse background allows him to approach projects with a problem-solving mentality and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
“If anyone needs anything done, I highly recommend Eric’s Services. He was here when he said he would be. Working in the rain, extreme heat, and after dark. He did a wonderful job rebuilding our 12x30 deck from the ground up. He is a very hard worker and we are very pleased with the outcome. Thank you, Eric!”
